Licensing
Lyrics and music written by Charles Baskerville for Baskerville Media. Recordings licensed by Baskerville Media, LLC.
Church and ministry
Churches and ministries may play the released recordings in in-person services, rehearsals, classrooms, and sermon podcasts or livestreams after written permission. Ordinary congregational ministry is complimentary, worldwide. Permission is for the recording as released — the mix as it stands, at its original pitch and length.
It does not include redistributing or selling the masters, claiming authorship, training AI models on the catalog, or using the work in a commercial production. If you need to loop a passage, cut a shorter bed, or place the track under another song, say that in the request. Unmentioned edits are not part of the grant.
Lyrics in worship
Projecting or printing lyrics for a congregation is a separate right. If the church reports through CCLI or another blanket license, write first anyway so the use is on record. Scripture text itself is not a substitute for permission to use the recording.
Not covered
The complimentary grant does not cover film, TV, advertising, video games, paid apps, merch, sync in a third-party YouTube channel run for ads, or sampling.
Sync / commercial
Film, broadcast, podcasts sold as product, games, and paid placement need a separate written license and fee. Describe the project, territory, term, and which track.
Multi-act works
Some books are issued as more than one album. License only the act that is out.
Exodus — Bondage (out now), Wilderness (out now), Tabernacle (24 Oct 2026). Act 3 is not cleared before that date.
Job — Act 1 (Chapters 1–13), Act 2 (Chapters 14–27), Act 3 (Chapters 28–42). All three acts are out. Job 39: The Wilderness Suite is a separate single; name it if that is the recording you mean.
Later multi-act series follow the same rule: permission is per released act, not for the whole book in advance. If a request says only the book title, we will ask which act and which tracks.
What to include
In a request: organization, which track or act, where it will play (service, sermon podcast, film, and so on), live or recorded, estimated audience, and dates.
